We plan to have a hybrid meeting with in-person programs that will also be open to those who wish to participate live from a distance. The Florida Entomological Society presented Junior and Senior awards to worthy projects entered in the 66th Annual State Science and Engineering Fair of Florida on March 31, 2021. The Junior Award was presented to Atreya Manaswi of the Orlando Science Middle School, Orlando FL, for the project, “Finding the best novel compound to attract small hive beetles and improve honey bee strength.” The Senior Award was presented to Noah Peracciny of the Lakeland Christian School, Lakeland, FL for the project “Measuring the difference in herbivory and leaf area of infected and uninfected invasive air potato leaves."
